In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-04, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes independently processes packages and serves as final clerical reviewer prior to action officer signature to ensure package meets substantive and procedural requirements on recommendations received. Establishes local operating procedures (e.g., procedures for processing awards and decorations to appropriate authority, board procedures, etc.). Responsible for input of data pertaining to awards and decorations. OR EDUCATION:
Must have successfully completed four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. NOTE:

A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. NOTE:

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of a standardized body of military policies and procedures relating to the military awards and decorations program and of the format, content, and uses of the military personnel record and the procedures and requirements regarding its maintenance. 2. Knowledge of military organizational structure, protocol, and similar matters. 3. Knowledge of general office administrative and clerical procedures. 4. Knowledge of the military personnel automated system and various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs. 5. Skill in typing; a qualified typist is required. 6. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and maintain effective work relationships. PART-TIME OR UNPAID
Experience:
Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK
Experience:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
